We are working to maintain an adequate fuel supply for our Chevron and Texaco marketers and retail locations as well as product exchange partners so that stations are open and operating in order to serve the people in storm impacted communities.

We are concerned over the potential impact of hurricane Ike and the additional pressure it could have on an already stressed petroleum distribution system.

Chevron encourages consumers in areas that have not been affected by recent storms to conserve fuel whenever possible. Reducing demand should help maintain an adequate supply for the people who need it for evacuations and emergency response in areas that have been impacted by the hurricanes.
