Break-Out Sessions

Numerous concurrent break-out sessions hosted by peers and professionals in HES and Operations from across ChevronTexaco and many contractors will provide insights and learnings about how some of the different Behavior-Based Safety processes are working. This will be your opportunity to get involved and ask questions from the people that make BBS work in their operations.

There will be 6 to 8 sessions on June 2nd, 12 to 16 sessions on June 3rd, and 6 to 8 sessions on June 4th.  A schedule of these sessions will be published and distributed in May 2004 and posted throughout the conference areas for you to leverage your personal and group learning action plans.

If you would like to host a Breakout session, please submit a pdf icon Break-out Presenter Registration (30KB).

All three types of registration forms are available at the bottom of this site.  They are also available from any of the committee members noted below.  All forms should be sent to the e-mail address or to the Registrar as noted on the form.

Transportation in New Orleans

Since shuttles and taxis are readily available and most areas of interest are within walking distance of the hotel, there is not a pressing need to have a rental car.  Check Ground Transportation for convenient transportation options and prices on Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport's web site at http://www.flymsy.com/

Airport Shuttles to the CBD (Fairmont) are $26 round-trip per person.  You can register with the shuttle service on-line at: http://www.airportshuttleneworleans.com or at ticket booths located on the lower level in the baggage claim area.

Taxis to the CBD (Fairmont) are $28 one-way per person.  Check with the valet on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area for price confirmation and pick-up locations.

If you drive or get a rental car, parking is available via valet at the Fairmont ($25 per day) or at several public lots near the Fairmont. Public lots may or may not be covered parking.  You should confirm the daily rate before you leave your car for several days.
