The Gulf of Mexico Business Unit's' Contractor Safety Management Plan has been revised (July 2005), and the changes become effective August 1, 2005. Many of the revisions resulted from contractor feedback, efforts to ensure compliance with North America Exploration and Production and Chevron Operational Excellence Management System. This program describes how Chevron Gulf of Mexico employees will communicate, monitor, and select our contractors. It also includes our Short Service Employee Policy.
