Post-Job Safety Evaluations
A successful job must include appropriate monitoring and interaction
between the contractor and Chevron personnel, and feedback must be
obtained from both parties.
At the end of a job, Chevron personnel may conduct Job Safety Evaluations
on Contractors to ensure safety
compliance objectives were met.
This is required for projects, and recommended for 35 to 50 percent
of small jobs.
The purpose of these evaluations are to:
- Measure key Safety performance areas
- Communicate SJVBU's expectations to the contractor
- Successfully track, rate and manage continuous improvement of our contractor's performance
- Review required programs such as Behavior-Based Safety, Job Safety Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis
- Review policies such as the Short Service Employee Policy
