Objectives
Process
- Primary emphasis is on core Business Partners.
- Cores are defined as high spend, high hours worked
(>40,000), and those contractors that warrant special attention
because of the nature of their work.
Business Partner Safety Management Audit (47kb).
Audits are performed jointly with the California Oil Producers group when applicable.
- Chevron Business Partner Process Safety Advisor performs
management systems interviews, and reviews legal and company policy requirements.
Audit format includes:
- Legal requirements (IIPP, DOT, D&A, PSM).
- All training requirements associated with regulatory and company requirements.
- Company mandated safety program elements (CSEQ, PPE, OPL. requirements, etc.).
- Contract requirements (e.g. Non-DOT Chevron Safety Sensitive Position Drug and Alcohol requirements and Passport Plus).
- Management systems qualitative assessment (based on Corporate Level I interview approach).
Business Partner Process Safety Advisor will receive endorsement from appropriate management.
Audit deficiencies noted on regulatory/company policy requirements are cited while on site and given appropriate time for corrective action.
- Audit reports are written and distributed to appropriate managers.
